Tinos Green
Green tinted marble in various hues, interrupted by whitish-green to pure white veins or markings. These light-coloured veins are crevices filled with calcite. It is quarried in Tinos, at the Axinoi site and in mineralogical terms it belongs to the serpentines. 
 
Petrographic identity: Serpentine marble
Mineral composition: 60% serpentinite & chlorite, 35% calcite, 5% magnetite & Fe-sulphides
